
According Newyork 1,Phase Three will allow restaurants to restart indoor dining. Personal care services like manicures and massages can also begin, all with strict hygiene guidelines. And some outdoor recreational activities will be permitted to resume, including sports courts and dog runs.
The city estimates this new phase will send 50,000 people back to work.
Restaurants
Restaurants will be able to welcome indoor diners at 50% of their normal capacity. , indoor tables should be at least six feet apart from each other.A maximum of 10 people can be seated at one table. Personal Care Services
While hair salons reopened in Phase Two, Phase Three will put a number of personal care services back in business, including: nail salons, massage parlors, spas, tanning salons, waxing salons, tattoo parlors, and piercing parlors.
Business must limit their employee and customer capacity to 50% of the maximum occupancy. Everyone must stay six feet from each other, except during services that require closer contact, such as giving a manicure or a massage. Employees and customers should wear face coverings at all times. For example, facilities should not have waiting rooms. “appointment only” policies and ask customers to wait in cars or six feet away, outside before appointments. Nail salons should also make sure that public nail polish displays are removed to prevent multiple customers from handling polish bottles. Tattoo shops are encouraged to post design offerings online or in windows to minimize time spent inside the shop.
Outdoor Activities
According to a statement from the de Blasio administration, soccer fields as well as outdoor basketball, tennis, volleyball, bocce, and handball courts will open during Phase Three. Dog runs will also reopen for public use, and beaches will open for swimming on July 1.
Those participating in high-contact sports, such as basketball, rugby, or wrestling, should only partake in individual or distanced group training. Competitive team practices, meets, or tournaments remain prohibited. Lower-contact sports, like baseball, tennis, and golf, may organize competitive team practices and games, although competitive tournaments of multiple games remain prohibited.
People should wear face coverings if they cannot maintain six feet distance from others, unless players are unable to tolerate masks during such physical activity.
