Then We both said, that’s the solution to our Marriage.

My name is Monica, and I am happily married and in love with an amazing man.We are expecting a child together. We haven’t  been the perfect couple at all, if I didn’t mentioned  this it means that I am not thankful to God for where our relationship is today. Our failures came about when we both failed to put first as first. We were heading down the road of separation and  blood divorce as many are today. There was no way we both knew how to saved our marriage. All we can say is thanks to God, we don’t know how we overcame to still be married. One thing we can still remember is us reading Proverbs 3:6  in the living room. Then we both said, that’s the solution to our marriage.

I  am not promising you a Caribbean cruise  for putting the interest of the Lord first, but I am implying to you that God wants to bless you provided if you put him first. Instead of going about with your personal interests, endless desires, family relationships, or work, how able you arrange your priorities around God first! A lot of our failures come about when we put our personal interests  first and then God comes after.Instead if it should be the other way around,I was taught that in everything I do,I should put God first and he will direct the efforts with of my success.(Proverbs 3:6 LIVING)

When you put him first ,he will direct that rest of every that concerns you. Some of us have tried to work out our dreams and desires in isolation of God, we might have succeeded to an extend but later on things began to take a different turn for the worst. But if we have done it the right way,he would’ve directed our plans the right way.Amazingly,we might have done everything right but still got a different out that affected our plan of success. One of my favorite verses:

  • “In everything you do, put God first, and He will direct you and crown your efforts with success.” (Proverbs 3:6 LIVING)
  • “I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.” (Psalm 32:8 LIVING)

We can record at a certain point in our lives where everything felt part and we had nobody or place to turn, our only survival of hope in his mother basement was Matthew 6:33  – seeking Him first. At times, we will get discourage, but we had to remind ourselves that God is faithful at his word. Life isn’t usually easy, but guess what? Over and over and over, we have to  experience God’s blessing. Sometimes God uses people who love us. Just imagine people we didn’t know came to our rescue, I received an unexpected, anonymous gift that help us with the roof over our head and kept food and pay off the bills . A little over 5 years, we got a gift that turned our entire life around for the best.

“For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.”  (2 Chron. 16:9a NASB)

  • “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.” (Psalm 34:7 NIV)
  •  “He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.” (Psalm 91:4 NLT)
  • “God’s looking after me, keeping me safe in the kingdom of heaven. All praise to him, praise forever! Oh, yes!” (2 Tim. 4:18 MSG)

“Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately andcares about you watchfully.” (1 Peter 5:7 AMP)

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 NIV)

No problem is too big for God’s power. Don’t underestimate the greatest of your Heavenly Father.

“Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace tohelp in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 NASB) What a picture of God’s sovereign authority and His great love for people! The needed supply is unleashed with your willing choice to seek Him. Stubborn refusal restricts you from the very resource you so desperately need.

Lastly, put the Lord first and everything will fall in line.God bless.
